This year's fashion show, even with the absence of Adriana Lima, was still undoubtedly sexy. With gorgeous outfits and accessories, incorporating animal prints, studs, balloons and metallics, Victoria's Secret proves yet again why it is the most watched fashion show around the world! Each year the show succeeds in taking the runway to another level, one that involves theatrical elements, digital aesthetics and live performances by award-winning artists.
The theme this year was Magical Journey, a glamourous tale of a girl travelling around the world to the most exotic and beautiful places, until she emerges at the end at some royal, romantic undisclosed location as a princess, possibly a queen. Her journey starts out in Star Trooper with metallic, cyber, space-age attire, before taking her travels to the sea in All Aboard, with cute accessorised giant passports! PINK Planet brings out the fun side with some very embellished outfits. The addition of balloons and use of bright, colourful aesthetics completes the playful segment. Enchanted Forest, mirroring Alice through the looking glass, is comprised of a combination of elegant, luxurious and ethereal looks incorporating tweeds, velvets and hand-painted items. Romantic Journey, the final section, is glamorous and sexy, completing the journey and transforming her into royalty.
